Welcome
This page has been designed by the Integrated Project Team (IPT) Communication Task Force to assist counties with positively communicating the extraordinary efforts done to meet the increased demands for self-sufficiency benefits over the last three years. The Task Force has written a white paper that helps explain the importance of positive messaging.
We have also created a generic press release (Word version) that you can adapt to your local community that helps start the positive messaging for your community.
The IPT Communication Task Force has also created templates based on submissions from counties for use in communicating with your local community. Each template has room for you to insert your county logo and contact information before you use them for marketing, communications or advertising. We hope these templates will be of use to you.

Plan-Do-Study-Act Cycle
Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) is a short cycle quality improvement tool that numerous counties and state agencies have adopted to increase efficiencies and program effectiveness. By making deliberate small changes, state and local agencies are also improving our customers’ experience. These tools have been developed to help you begin using the PDSA methodology in your own department.
If you have any questions on how to adopt the PDSA methodology, please contact:
